Yes, it's necessary to register on Shoclef to shop. Shopping as a logged-in user is faster & more convenient, plus it provides extra security.
How do I register myself ?
Step 1: Download the app or log on to www.shoclef.com
Step 2: Register by completing your profile - profile picture, phone number, email, first and last name, and password OR you can sign up using Facebook or Google
Step 3: Enter SMS verification code
Step 4: Accept the Terms & Conditions
Step 5: Start shopping!
Is my personal information secure on Shoclef ?
Yes, your personal information is secure on Shoclef. No one can access your account information except you.
Do I need to pay for registration ?
No, registration is free.
I forgot my password, what do I do ?
You can reset your password by clicking on the 'Forgot Password' option at the sign in/log in page and follow these simple steps: 1. Enter your mobile number 2. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number 3. Enter the OTP to reset your password.

What are local services ?
Using the 'Local Service' feature you can book/hire professional service providers such as plumbers, electricians, beauticians, personal trainers and more within the app with ease.
What are online services ?
Using our 'Online Service' feature you can book freelancers from across the world that offer online services such as graphics & design, digital marketing, writing & translations.
What are live services ?
Our 'Live Service' feature lets you consult with fortune tellers, astrologers, tutors, personal shoppers and other live service providers in real-time on a one-on-one basis.
Who is a streamer ?
Anyone who goes 'Live' to sell a product via Shoclef's 'Live Streaming' feature is called a 'Streamer'. Users can stream as personal shoppers or as a store.
What are streams ?
Stream's are live videos captured by sellers (stores or individuals) in order to promote and sell their products in real-time on Shoclef. Users can view upcoming streams via the 'Scheduled Streams' option and view previously streamed videos via the 'Past Streams' option.
Does Shoclef provide warranty/guarantee for merchandise ?
Shoclef only acts as an intermediary between the seller and buyer, and is not liable to provide any warranty or guarantee for merchandise purchased on the website or app.
What is feed ?
The feed is located on your 'Profile' page and can be used for engaging and sharing authentic feedback about our products and services with fellow users. You can also post requests for products or services on your feed.

How can I 'Shop Live' ?
Steps on Mobile Apps :
1. Click on 'Shop Live' tab at the bottom
2. There are 3 links on the top: a. Cities, b. Near Me, c. View on Map
3. You can click on 'Cities' and then select your city [Please note: if your city is not listed it means there are no live shoppers in your city at the moment.]
4. You can click on 'View' on the map to see all the live cities across the world
Steps on website :
1. Click on 'Shop Live' on the main navigation
2. Filter products based on city
3. Click on products you want to buy to start shopping
How can I search hot deals/goods/services ?
There is a search bar on every page in the app. Enter the name of the product/service you wish to search and hit enter.
Can I interact with the seller while I am Live Streaming
Yes. We have a chat messenger functionality that allows you to chat and talk to the seller directly within the app.
Where can I view my shopping cart ?
Press the shopping cart icon located on the top right side of the screen to view your shopping cart.
How can I check order history ?
Go to your 'Profile' and click on 'Buyer Dashboard' to view your entire order history.
I have placed an order but it’s not appearing in the buyer section of 'My Profile.' Why is that so ?

Why should I sign-up on Shoclef as a seller ?
Shoclef is free to get started. You can start selling almost immediately without any listing fees or creating a standalone website. You can also sell globally, thus increasing your customer base and revenue.
Who can sell on Shoclef ?
Anyone can sell on Shoclef! Whether you are an individual, store, or service provider, Shoclef welcomes all sellers.
Can a seller offer both products and services on Shoclef ?
Yes! A seller is welcome to offer both, products and/or services on Shoclef.
What are the documents required to register as a seller on Shoclef ?
There is no long, tedious process to register on Shoclef. Just enter your store or service name, and category and you're all set to start posting your listings for free.
Who decides on the price of the products ?
You, as a seller, get to decide on the price of the products you list.
Will the seller be charged for listing products on Shoclef ?
No. Listing products on Shoclef is absolutely free.
Who will take care of the order delivery ?
Shoclef makes it easier for you to ship your products anywhere in the world. Simply pack and drop off your order with the shipping label provided by us at your nearest fulfilment centre and we will take care of the delivery for you. For further information, you can contact us on info@shoclef.com
When can a seller start selling on Shoclef ?
A seller can start selling immediately once they have registered themselves on Shoclef.
How many listings are required to start selling ?
A minimum of 1 listing is required to start selling on Shoclef.
How can a seller 'Get Live' ?

What are the benefits of going 'live' as a seller ?
You can showcase your products to customers 'Live' and also engage with potential customers in real-time. In short, you can offer online shoppers all the benefits of being in store, from anywhere in the world.
Which products/services can sellers offer online ?
Shoclef gives sellers maximum flexibility in choosing the type of products/services they wish to offer.
How can sellers manage orders on Shoclef ?
Head to 'My Profile >> Seller Dashboard' to view/manage your orders/tasks.
How much commission does Shoclef charge ?
Write to us on info@shoclef.com and we will assist you further.
Where can seller view invoices ?
Head over to 'My Profile >> Seller Dashboard' and click on a recently purchased item to view invoice for the same. Once you open the invoice you can click on the 3 dots in the right to save/download your invoice receipt.
Will the seller be compensated if the customer replaces the original product with a different item ?
Shoclef does not currently offer compensations for replacements.
Will the seller be compensated if the customer returns damaged products ?
Shoclef does not currently offer compensations for returns.
Does Shoclef provide packaging material ?
Shoclef does not provide packaging material. However, we do provide shipping labels that you can post on your packed orders.
Does Shoclef offer customer support ?

Shipping & Delivery
What are the shipping charges and/or are there any additional charges ?
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at the checkout page when both the destination and delivery service are selected. Please note that shipping charges vary from country to country.
What is the stipulated delivery time for an order ?
The delivery time varies for each country. You will be able to check the estimated delivery time of your order while selecting the delivery option when making a purchase.
What should I do if my area is not serviceable by Shoclef ?
Email your Pin Code/Zip Code to info@shoclef.com and we will notify you once we start operating in your locality.

Will my parcel be charged customs and import charges ?
You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your international order passes through customs. Any charges on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel. Shoclef has no control over these charges and we can't tell you what the cost would be. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
Return & Refund
How can I return my product/s ?
Shoclef does not accept returns currently.
How do I exchange my product/s ?
Items once purchased are not eligible for return or exchange.
What should I do if my order is received in a damaged condition ?
We apologize for this, however, in a rare case you happen to receive a damaged/defective product, please notify us at info@shoclef.com, to help us get this fixed for you. When you first contact us please include the following information; Your Name, Order Number, Product Name, Picture of the fault and a Description of the fault (The product name can be found on your order confirmation email).
What should I do if I receive a different item from the one that I have ordered ?

I ordered the same product in more than one quantity. How do I do a partial return ?
We are sorry! Shoclef does not accept returns at the moment. However, you can sell the extra quantity on Shoclef.
Would I get a compensation if the goods are damaged or lost in transit ?
You will receive a credit to your account if the product is lost or damaged in transit. Kindly email your concerns at info@shoclef.com
Can I cancel an order ?
Once orders are placed, they cannot be cancelled.
How can I track my order ?
You can track your order status in the 'My Profile >> Buyer Dashboard' section. Once your order is dispatched, the tracking details will be updated in your account.

What happens to my money deducted from my debit card/credit card/Net Banking for an unsuccessful order ?
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at the checkouIf your card is debited and no order placed, do not panic. Please check your bank/credit card account, if the money is debited on a failed transaction, it will be rolled back into your account within 7 business days. The time taken can vary from bank to bank and we, unfortunately, won't be able to expedite this.
